1. Laying an irrigation system: Before the drought comes, a sprinkler or drip irrigation system is laid in the tea garden, and the tea garden is replenished with sprinkler or drip irrigation in the morning and evening.

2. Shading and surface covering of tea gardens: Shading and surface covering of tea gardens can effectively reduce the transpiration of water. Before the drought comes, cover the tea trees with shade nets, or cover the ground with plant stems, sunscreen mulch, etc., to cover the bare surface as much as possible, reduce water evaporation, and prevent the growth of tea trees from being restricted due to excessive water loss.

3. Timely pruning: After drought damage, if the branches and leaves appear scorched, they should be pruned in time to reduce the evaporation of water and the spread of necrotic tissue. The pruning should be light but not heavy, so as not to affect the tea yield in the spring of the following year, generally about 1~ at 2cm.
4. Timely fertilization: After the drought is relieved, organic fertilizers and compound fertilizers special for tea trees should be applied as soon as possible, and quick-acting fertilizers should be applied appropriately. When fertilizing, it should be properly and deeply applied, which can not only ensure that the root system can quickly absorb sufficient nutrients, but also allow the root system of the tea tree to properly cut off the roots and rebuild the root system.
